Winding Down

Well, the weekend was a bit disappointing in terms of sales. Saturday was very rainy and cold (sooo weird after weeks of 90+ degree weather), so the crowds were understandably lacking. (Although, with my gardener/non-craft show vendor hat on, I was really happy about the rain because it's sooo dry here).

Sunday was pretty successful, though so at least I made a bit of a profit (despite the teeny tiny table I got). And, the best part, I had some really cool neighbors and made some friends. A good time was had by all.

The second best part- this is how I got to the fair. That's right- it was only a 10 minute walk from my house, and I got to pack up this awesome wagon that came to me via freecycle about a month ago. So cool!

I will be posting the leftovers in the shop this week and trying to make way for some new fall/winter designs that I'm working on. So be sure to check in over there to see some new stuff!

Sappy moment alert: I'd also like to thank all of you who emailed or even thought of me this past week after the bridge collapse-it really warmed my heart to know that people that I've never even met who are all across the country had me and my loved ones in their thoughts. Just makes me so glad that I've found and become part of this amazing crafting/blogging community.

  1. Sorry to hear that sales were a bit lacking. I've discovered that these shows truly are hit or miss. You just never know! But I really love your wagon transportation system :)

I didn't realize you were near the bridge incident. I'm so glad to hear that you're ok.
